Journal of Anesthesia, Analgesia and Critical Care is the official publication of the Italian Society of Anesthesia, Analgesia, Resuscitation and Intensive Care. With the aim of advancing knowledge and sharing it with the wider community, the Society is willing to cover publication costs for selected high quality articles.
Eligible manuscripts need to have a strong chance of progressing to publication, and make a meaningful impact on the literature. The Editor-in-Chief will prioritize high quality research articles that have demonstrated relevance and impact on clinical practice/patient care, and/or relevance and impact on future research, including:
- Guidelines and systematic reviews
- Intervention clinical trials with patient-important outcomes
- Observational studies
The Editor-in Chief is unlikely to provide APC coverage for Commentaries, Letters to the Editor, studies dealing with educational issues, case series with relevance to restricted regional areas.
